It consisted of 3 competitions - Frost Byte (January), Love de Bug (February), and End Game (March). Champions in each division held the collective highest average scores over all three competitions! We are excited to announce that Stephanie Becker was named the Trot Individual Champion and Jen Ellington was the Master's Walk Individual Champion! Each winner will receive a custom embroidered "Champion" jacket. Congratulations ladies on a job well done, and a big shout out to all of the series champions! We would like to announce we are officially retiring Sunny from the Garrod Farms Riding School. He will be moving to Los Angeles to help our vaulting community at LAEVC (Los Angeles Equestrian Vaulting Club). Here, he will be retired at a beautiful dressage barn teaching tiny tot riding lessons, and some trot vaulting. We feel this is another great retirement placement, and know that LAEVC will provide him with EXCELLENT care. Sunny Boy has been a mascot of MEVC for the past 13 years, competing at almost EVERY level. His cuddly personality will sure be missed at Garrod Farms, and we’re happy to share him with our community.

]]><![CDATA[Vinnie's On a New Adventure!]]>Sat, 16 Jan 2021 08:00:00 GMThttps://www.mountedenvaulting.org/whats-new/vinnies-on-a-new-adventureWe would like to announce Vinnie’s soft retirement from vaulting. As our new teammates are stepping up it's time for our older ones to get a break. Over the holiday we have decided to find Vinnie a new home at LH Riding Academy which also trains at Garrod Farms. Here, Vinnie will train as a low level hunter jumper and get to continue vaulting with us two times a week! He is still available for plenty of kisses, snuggles, and of course vaulting sessions! We are so thankful to have found a working retirement that suits Vinnie, and big BONUS it’s at our home base.
We hope we can find these perfect retirements for all our teammates!
