What to Expect

Going Competitive? What to Expect.

CULTURE: When choosing to join MEVC’s competitive program, you are not only here to compete for our club but also here to be part of our vaulting family and entire vaulting community. Vaulting is a unique sport that not only challenges an athlete but also accepts them for whatever level or aspect they are able to compete at. As a vaulter you have the opportunity to train, travel, and compete Regionally, Nationally, and Internationally. MEVC thrives on building a community with each member and their family. We are a not for profit organization and have partnered with Garrod Farms for over 50 years.
VOLUNTEERING: is a huge part of how we succeed. Without the help from our community we would not be the cohesive club that we are today. We ask that all families contribute to the club in some way, both at competitions and annually. Some examples on how you can support are donating your own strengths such as marketing, communications, organization. Vaulters can even contribute their time by helping assist in classes. At the beginning of each season we will be providing a list of volunteer opportunities.
COMPETITIONS: At the beginning level we will typically attend 2-3 barrel competitions and 2-4 horse competitions a season. Most of our competitions will be local within a couple hour driving distance. Competitions last anywhere from 1-3 days. This is a great time for club bonding and other vaulting community connections.
